I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
